LOVErdis
GOAL: Support nonprofits with sustainability
LOVErdis is a multifaceted program designed to give back to the communities who have supported us over the years. We continue to support our communities by sharing our time, talent, and charitable giving.
Talent. Through our LOVErdis program, Verdis Group offers nonprofits the opportunity to tackle some of their biggest sustainability challenges free of charge. Since 2019, we have have worked with the following recipients:
- Joslyn Art Museum
- Jewish Federation of Omaha
- Habitat for Humanity of Omaha
- Metro Transit Omaha
- Association of Zoos and Aquariums
- Nemours Children’s Health
Time. As part of our LOVErdis efforts, we organize company service days, offer paid time off for community service, and monitor and record total volunteer hours.
Charitable Giving. Since 2021, Verdis Group has donated to 22 local nonprofits as part of its LOVErdis charitable giving. We allow our employees to select charities to receive our company’s donations, and we match our employees’ charitable contributions of up to $250 per employee each year.
